Where did the idea to use fire come from? Another poetic masterpiece.

I'm not sure why it came to mind in the moment, but there's a song called, "Another in the Fire" that we used to sing at church and it's about the fiery furnace in Daniel where Jesus comes to stand in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Not sure why that word picture came to me when you asked me what encouragement feels like for me, but there it was.

Well done Cathey. I definitely relate to your words. I haven't had time to really sit with this until this morning and when I did it reminded me, encouragement is a spiritual gift and God reminded me that is really one of the attributes of shepherding and being one of God's disciples. He also uses friends to help us too when we ourselves are weak.

Beautiful! Your words are such a gifted expression of intense moments in life and the grace we receive when the alone moves to the blessing of comfort. I have read many of your talented creations, and this one, at this time, gracefully touched my heart and lifted me up. Thank you, Cathey. ❤️🤗🙏

This is so well written and I like the one line there that you’re not alone that encouragement is standing right beside you and that means that you’re your own best encourager thank you for sharing this. I also struggled with this theme.
