Here’s a softer sounding poem using some C words in alliteration.
~*~
After the rain
God draped a chiffon-like cloud around Cinderella’s celestial blue gown,
pinning it at the waist with a couple candescent stars.
Then He pulled streaks of orange and gold into a classic chignon bun,
allowing several cinnamon curls to easily become undone.
With a childlike curtsy and a rainbow smile, Hope comforted the weeping cheery tree,
calmly, cradling it as we settled down.
Beginning to blossom this week
Beautiful work, Jan
Love the personification! That's a beautiful tree. Hopefully we get some blossoming here soon. Our weather has been a bit manic and the trees are just leafing out.
