I used to love to crochet. I made hats, blankets, booties, Christmas ornaments, and more. I had to give it up when I got carpel tunnel and then I needed shoulder surgery and finally arthritis in my hands. I can barely hold a pen for very long much less a crochet needle. So I had to give it up.
I am giving you a glimpse of what I had made.
This is a blanket I made my great niece Harper when she was born
This is an ear covering my niece asked me to make for my great niece Harper.
I made this for my great nephew Nash
These are his matching booties.
A friend asked me if I could make her a chicken trivet. This was my first attempt.
It took me a little more than a year to make this. It is a queen size granny square afghan.
This is just one of the Christmas ornaments I made. I also made a wreath, star, mitten, and stocking.
This is one of the trivets I made for one of my sisters for Christmas.
I made several of these star trivets in many colors for my sisters for Christmas.
This is a pot holder I made my step mom for Christmas. I made her a set of 4
This is a hat I made my sister-in-law for Christmas.
My aunt in Wyoming sent me a book on how to crochet. This was the very first thing I made. All the others I learned how to make those by watching YouTube.
So I hope you enjoyed viewing some of the things I used to do. I wish my hands cooperated with me, I would still be doing that. But then again if I did that, I wouldn’t have time to write my poetry.
Thank y’all for taking a look,
Mia Ball
Great job Mia :)
These were beautiful, heartfelt projects and gifts that you made. I understand the fingers not cooperating. 🧶🧶
