When we were given this theme, I knew exactly what I was going to do. I grew up in Michigan. My school years were spent in Dearborn, a suburb of Detroit. After graduation I headed to God’s country.
Michigan has some of the most beautiful scenery. From the vast inland seas, to mountains, rivers, streams and so much more. It is a sportsmen paradise. Just to sit outside without the pollution of city lights and look up at the dark sky, the number of stars will take your breath away. The sunsets on the lake are so amazing. Watching the freighters on the horizon heading outbound to deliver iron ore, or any number of products sent by ship.
Michigan will always be my home in my heart. She is beautiful, she has so much nature for everyone to explore. Please enjoy my journey of Michigan
Michigan, a nature lover's dream, where vast inland seas stretch wide, lapping gently at the shores of sand, crystal blue beneath a sunlit sky, the shimmering dance of light, across clear rivers weaving through forests, each bend a secret, each ripple a whisper of life. In winter's embrace, snow blanketed the earth, transforming the landscape into a canvas, each branch adorned with icy lace, silent trails beckoning footprints, the hush of the world, cocooned in soft, white stillness. Pictured rocks stand, grand sentinels of color and stone, their layers tell stories, stories of time, of water, and wind, blues and oranges etched against the sky, where every sunrise spills hope, and every sunset warms the soul. Sleeping bear dunes rise, giants of sand, where children laugh, and adults breathe deep, climbing to the zenith, only to tumble down, following the path of joy. Elk roam wild, majestic in their ease, noble guardians of untouched beauty, the spirit of the land, a reminder of freedom, where nature reigns, and our hearts sweel with wonder. In Michigan, each moment is a treasure, woven with the threads of nature, a tapestry of tranquility, inviting us to wander, to breathe, to belong.
