A full moon rises, slow and bright
Painting the skies with silvery light
As twilight creates the evening’s hue
The luminous globe enhances the view
Shades of light change in a glance
While shadows of night softly dance
And ripples of light call me near
The whispers of night my soul to hear
Let cares of day float away into the night
As I sit quietly beneath the moon so bright
Moments of gratitude for gifts from above
Heart and soul feeling God’s love

I feel this description of taking in a night view of a full moon! It's so calming. It tends to remind me that the universe is so vast and I am just one tiny part, but that I still matter to the Creator of it all!
