it gives you joy
It helps your grief
It evokes your dreams, your wonderment and your spirit …
Brings back memories as it fills your heart, as it tugs at the heartstrings and fills you with emotion… it can break your heart for the love you’ve lost or make you yearn for the love you need …
When grieving over the passing of my husband I played music, I cried as it evoked memories of a love never more but also released me of some of my grief so I could carry on ..
I love to listen to music during meditation as it keeps me centered … I believe music releases Endorphins..
Have you ever sat in a church and listened to a beautiful choir and how it makes you feel the spirit of God …
I believe music can heal and helps relieve stress …
I love all genres of music from jazz, to 60’s 70’s Motown, opera and classical it’s what I prefer at the time according to my mood and emotions .. My love of music stemmed from my father, he had wonderful taste in music.. my father was Polish and escaped nazi occupied Poland, so from his love of what he called Gypsy music , violins, opera etc, I absorbed it all and all the emotion behind it ..
I also believe we all experience at sometime in our lives the dark night of the soul, music helps one through all of this
