My family Tree

Here's a go at my family tree. After chats with my dad and some digging around, this is what we came up with. My Mom would have been in her element doing this. I know that she started to look into our family tree even further back but unfortunately I couldn't find it.

First, my Dad's side of the family. We have the Wheelers, Reeves, Jones, and Peckovers.

John Brazier Wheeler married Gertrude Alice Reeves. They had 3 children, John Leslie 15/01/1908 (my Grandad), Edith, and Gertrude. Only one of the sisters married. Edith married Percy Henry Jones in 1923. His father was unfortunately not at the wedding as he was killed in action during WWI.

My Grandad went into the family business of Wood Merchants. See the picture below.

I only have Nans fathers name unfortunately . John James Peckover. My Nan (Rosa) had 3 sisters (see picture below). Emily and May are the name of two of them.

My Nan was born 30/10/1908 and pictured here with her Nan.

My Nan and Grandad married in 1934 and had one son (my Dad) John Terence Wheeler 08/03/1938.

On my Moms side of the family we have, Stafford, Jackson, Tisdell and Alliman.

Charles Thomae Stafford married Annie Alliman. Don't know of all the siblings though. I Know of one daughter Lottie (who became a Nun) and my Grandad George Alan Stafford born 23/9/1915.

Then we have William Jackson who married Annie Emily Tisdell and had two children. Geoffrey who married Rona and my Nan, Winifred May, born 07/11/1914.

My Nan and Grandad had a small wedding. My Grandad was on leave from the forces during WWII. He was at Dunkirk ( which he never spoke of) and then Kenya.

My Nan and Grandad had three girls, Patricia Jacqualine ( my Mom) 19/07/1941, Norma and Sylvia. All pictured below with Great Nanna Jackson.

My Mom and Dad married 25/9/1966 and had two children. My brother Jonathan David ( my Dad got some of the way with the Wheeler family tradition of John as the first name). Born 09/04/1970 and myself Anna Louise born 05/04/1968.

I married Andrew Derek Morris (born 12/08/1963) on 08/08/1998.

I could go further through the extended names of the Fox and Bailey side of family, but we would be here all day.

I only know of a couple of Andy's side of the family. His Uncle Alan and Aunty Grace. There were other brothers. He also gas a brother Chris who ismarried to Julia.

We have one son, George Derek (named after my Grandad and Andy's Dad). Sadly supporting tbe same football (soccer) team as his Dad.
