Play Through Eyes of Child

Aubrey's Poem

The theme of play this week, made me think of this poem written by my 9 year old granddaughter last March. Aubrey had been playing in the snow for about an hour, when I came out to join her. She said, “Grammie, catch me in the air”…so we took several shots of her jumping in the snow…play through her eyes! She looked at the photos, said this one was perfect. Later that afternoon, she took my iPad without me knowing and wrote the poem. Then handed it to me, “Grammie, look what I wrote.” To me, it captured the joy and fun she was having just playing! It makes me smile every time I read it. Enjoy play through the eyes of a child.
