I’ve noticed a recent uptick in new subscribers and wanted to take the time to welcome you and explain a couple of things so that you all feel comfortable!

If you joined as a free subscriber, you can peruse all the posts and comment as you are so lead. Everyone in this group enjoys hearing if you appreciate or relate to their work. Feel free to add your feedback while enjoying all the creative talent in this group. We have long-time creators as well as those renewing their creative inclinations or just getting started. You will only find friendship and encouragement from the amazing people in this group.

If you want to add your own creative endeavors in posts here, you will want to subscribe with a paid subscription. Because we are considered a Substack group, we have to have a paid account option. However, we keep the price at the lowest level Substack allows: $30 per year or $5 per month. Obviously the math means that getting an annual account is half the price of monthly. We even donate the proceeds of subscriptions to a worthy charity. Our goal is not to be profitable, but to be a community of creators who are inspired to share their work. We’d love to have you join in the fun! We have a weekly writing prompt, substack live events, and a question of the week. But the great thing is that there is no limit on posting whatever creative endeavors you are working on or discoveries you make and wish to share.

I am Cathey Cone and my “job” here is just to organize themes and events and oversee subscriptions and questions. This is a GROUP site that belongs to all the members and it is my distinct privilege to read all the posts and oooh and ahhh over all the offerings here. Encouraging people in their creative journeys is what lights me up! I am open to suggestions and ideas and I love it when members offer up themes for our weekly prompt. I hope some of you decide to share your creative giftings with all of us as well.
