Did you know the woods are haunted, haunted with the sound of creatures that dwell within..
If you walk among the birch wood trees you might see me, I am a woodland creature…
I live among the trees
I live among the leaves
I live among the tall grass
I lie down upon the moss and leaves, while the wild birch wood trees sing to me, as the wind whistles through their leaves…
I am a creature of the wood, I dwell within nature
As I lie here, I look down upon the sun lite golden meadow …
All of nature is alive
The bees are buzzing happily as they pollinate the wild flowers, you almost smell the honey they will make…
The mudlarks are bathing in the raindrops that have fallen upon the velvet leaves.. as the woodland creatures scurry, the fox, the deer, the Chipmunks chatter to the squirrels ..how they love to be near…
How wonderful to be free, to flutter among the moss laden green trees, where no one is aware of me…
I must lie now upon the earth and sleep upon the softness of the meadow grass …
This is beautiful Halina. It has such a mystical quality about it. Your words transport me to that exact spot, amongst the meadow grass. Thank you. ❤️🤗. Happy New Year
Love the mystery of your poem.
