One of the strategies I use when writing becomes stalled, is taking a walk in nature, its where I find my mind becomes quiet, taking in beauty and wonder of it all.
I have a writers block as well at the moment. I just can’t seem to write any poems lately. I have tried but my paper remains blank. This explains why I haven’t posted anything the last few weeks.
I think sometimes it helps to just rest in the waiting knowing it will pass eventually. Trying to force it never works for me. Hopefully yours will return soon.
I was thinking about this group the other day and the talent that is here. I was rearranging my library of books the other day and got sidetracked by reading some of my books. One was your book of poetry. It is beautiful. Your love of nature shines. Your gift is amazing, it may be stalled but is in your heart, never lost. ❤️🤗🙏
I have the hardest time thinking up something that goes along with the theme. Sometimes it takes several days. If I can find my topic, I can usually find a few words.
I’m with you on that Linda sometimes it’s hard to write, but you know you were always the inspiration of my starting to write and I thank you for that.
I find when I get writers block, I listen to gospel music. I pray and God gives me the words. Where I live the closest thing to nature is a field of tumbleweeds. Back home I had thousands of square miles of forests to walk through. I miss that.
Your poem resonates with me, and at the same time inspires me in knowing, we are not alone in experiencing these trials in our writing. It is how we embrace them and react. Thank you for sharing .

I’m with you on that Irene. So many things going on in my mind right now and it’s creating a block in writing.

I don't get writer's block often, but it is quite frustrating for me when I do. Being outside helps me, too!
I love the graphic and the visual. Well done!
