The Beatles came to town
Introducing rock to pop culture, a new audience to the musical pattern of rock
Beatlemania becoming a everyday word (swoon)
The Beatles, following in the footsteps of Elvis, change agents in the music world
On that day, I was there
There amongst the screaming thousands
The Fab Four looking like mini people on stage
A thrill of a lifetime in my young life
The timelessness of music
A language for all ages!

5 days before, the Beatles were in Vancouver. We watched news coverage on TV. I was only 8 so didn't understand why the crowd was screaming. A few years later I was playing Beatles tunes on the trumpet (first instrument I learned to play).
