Love your poetic story of the beautiful feathers you found for me. One of the tail feathers is on my favorite straw cowboy hats and 2 smaller ones are adorning 2 of my beaver felt fedoras. The others You will see in my Show and Tell TuesdayCreations post.
Amazing how you can take a random object, a turkey tail feather, and turn it into a poetic gem. And that's a good looking turkey, strutting himself like that! 😎
A very fun read with reward of finding the perfect tail feather!
Very creative and fun poem. Thanks Cathey.
I love your poem, Cathey! The act of giving something so special as a gift reflects genuine affection. ❤
Such fun. I know those feathers were greatly appreciated.

It was fun to relive searching for those feathers for you. I look forward to your contribution on today's theme!

It was fun. Writing about objects is way different than writing about feelings. It feels lighter and more fun.
Nice poem, Cathey.I have wild turkeys all around me.I guess I need to get out there and look for some of those tail feathers. Fun read.👏👏👏👏👏
The best time to look is late summer! I was going to see Karen in Sept. so I was searching in August. Found quite a few different types.
Lovely expression of friendship with a beautiful symbol🪶🪶
