After living in the desert for 30 years, with very few rainy days, I actually enjoy them (except when it hails). Gentle rains make walks interesting. Have you ever taken a rainy day walk?
In my 21 years growing up on the West (aka wet) Coast, walking and biking in the rain was a frequent choice. We always had good rain suits and when the waterproof breathable technology came out it was awesome. In Calgary, rainy days without lightning are fairly rare, so its all about going out regardless of snow and windchill.
Thank you for sharing. I remember going outside to play in puddles as a child. My mom would always tell us that it was God's way of washing our sins away. Even as a child I remember that after the rain stopped it would always smell so clean. So thank you again for bringing back a little of my childhood in me.
Lovely poem.

Wonderful poem Linda. Thank you for sharing.
I don't mind rainy day walks if they are warm! And I do love the smell of a good summer rain.
Love this. May I join in the fun, splashing in the puddles?
You certainly can, we could have a grand time splashing💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦
Yes, ma’am, we could!
What a wonderful poem.
This is a fun poem. Your words describe so well the benefits but fun of the rain and all it brings. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy your week! ❤️🤗
